The in-betweens
If you are telling me that when we exclude all the hours we spend at work, sleep, chores and whatnots that leaves us around 300k hours to live.. then It’s a beautiful life if I am getting to live these precious hours around my loved ones! Call it talking to my friend for 3rd 24mins or the annual Christmas rituals of visiting my fave home in London, chilling on their couch + movie marathon. (Recency bias) Looking back at this year I have maybe only a handful of core memories that I remember. The rest of the days have been consumed in autocratic actions like stressing about job, disrupted schedules and just working, labouring overtime. Well, I don’t regret it, it was the absolute need of the hour, but today that I have got some moments to reflect, now-on I would love to choose more of balance, choose the joy of little things.
