A day full of Blessings!
In a world of almost 800 crore humans, what's amusing is that all of us have different energy fusions which then define what kind of things we enjoy, who are the kind of people we look up to and why we do what we do...
I have never found myself fan-freaking around popular faces. But there are a couple of individuals whome I absolutely look up to and have very high regards. These who might be just humans for others, are superheroes for me. And the radiant energies I feel when I am in their presence are unparalleled.
Months before my month long visit back home to India, my mother would ask me what all do I wish to do. I had one very specific temple, situated about 600km from Mumbai that I wanted to visit and nothing much on my list apart from meeting family and friends. But just during the last month in London, I got to know while listening to a podcast, about an amusing place by its very director Shri Gaur Gaurangadas Prabhu ji, and the place is called Govardhan Eco Village. A spiritual editorial by ISCON chawpatty, spread over 150 acres of land with an ambience like no other place than vrindavan itself!
Listening about this as I ironed my clothes, in my room in London, I wished to visit this place.
My association with iskcon had only began after going to London. Temples are huge energy centres for me and ISCON at soho was the only temple in my mundane visinity. The chanting, the radiance, would make me feel at peace. I have been there no more than thrice, always on some significant occassios. The last time was 2nd of August, amidst the last few happening days of RCA and London. Who knew exactly 11 data from then I would be at another ISCON, oceans apart.
Me and my family, we decided to visit the place. It felt so....On the mornining I reached, what was all very calm and peaceful on my outside, was hampered by a few ambitious waves on the inside - I wanted to meet Shri Gaurangadas Prabhu. I had been listening to him for quite a few years, and I knew he is often here at Wada. I enquired to quite a few monks and savekaris, my parents unaware of this quest of mine. As we have different layers of existence, I could feel different layers of experience. On one, I was having an amazing time with my family exploring the place, on another I felt at home with the constant mantra jaaps and kirtans falling on the ears, and on yet another layer, I was feeling slightly excited hoping to meet Prabhu!
The endeavors of day 1 boomed into the blessings of day 2 at Govardhan Eco Village. I woke up at the Brahma muhurat, and attended the Mangal Aarti, followed by some very special moments at the temple.... fast-forward to the next couple of hours, I had now met Prabhu more than once and conveyed what I wanted to .. alongside finally feeling at peace after weeks of turbulence on the mind realm. The day 15/08/2024 might have become the most wholesome of this year ... Independence Day have always been special, but this day....was a happy proposterous implosions of energy and realisations.
