AAGAZ is a Cultural group of MIT-WPU, being a part of this group, this is my experience here at Aagaz :

The Journey of Aagaz

It all started with an idea…

An idea to form a group of like minded people who had that earnest desire of cherishing their passion .Creating a platform that would nourish that artist within them! 

Creating an atmosphere of artistic aroma that would witness art in its every form.

The hunt began, for finding students and talents throughout MIT WPU,  the Dais was open to one and all! May that be dancers,actors,anchors,management, set designers,writers,musicians,singers,artists and what not, there were no auditions coz all we needed was your dedication... people started coming on board...

Professor Chaitanya Kulkarni and Professor.Sachin Gadekar, were our two main pillars,the Department of peace our roof…

And there began, the beautiful journey of Aagaz..the first stop was indeed scripting, a few scripts were ready,but the most ideal one was provided to us by our mentor: Prof.Sachin 

Next were a  few modulations,and here we were ready with our final script!

Our amazing actors came in,casting was done and the core crew of the first performance by the team,was ready.

Meanwhile parallelly there was happening a Flash mob,and the dance team was all engrossed in its making ….

Talking about challenges,we actually don't call it so,coz for us they were kind of litmus test,To prove our metal….

4 scenes,4 weeks,the practice began, modulations,feedback,alterations,the cycle continued,and here were we ready,all set to give our best !!

The occasion was of World Peace Week,Well nothing could be so perfect than a group under faculty of peace giving their first performance for world peace week….

Performing arts was not just the only thing happening, there was a team working with logo and poster making ...the guiding force was indeed Chaitanya sir and the resources were provided by Sachin sir. 

In this way, every thread got weaved beautifully and there we got a complete picture .

The entire Faculty of Peace was our biggest blessing,their constant support and motivation fuelled us, and so was the outcome,the Street play was a Big hit,the dance performance was another marvel!

Today aagaz is not just a thought ...it's an emotion which binds us together ...it helped us create our own identity ...its now our source of ultimate energy …...It's no more just a beginning, it's a journey which we are living…!
