The Day, we were us..

Well after peaking out of my window and making a few random visits to the gallery ,all I could see were birds chirping, tree branches catching the vibe of the winds ,that psithurism and beautiful butterflies. Well I must say, after a very long time, had I seen birds flying soo close to the ground, some walking on the forbidden roads all calm and taking their time to discover the land ! and yes, random street dogs roaming in utter disbelief, to have not seen a single human on roads, throughout the day... The weather was really good, a cool breeze replaced the harsh winds... 

There I was, sitting in our open terrace , my eyes couldn't catch the sight of even a single human, my ears trying to pick the thinnest of human made noise, but happily I couldn't find one. 

The roads seemed to be the victims of Zombie Apocalypse, but the zombies weren't there... It was all nature at its best. 

Stunned, I sat there, although I was looking at the same trees, smelling the same soil and breathing the very quotidian air, but today it all seemed serene and magical.

A thought struck me at ones, just a single ingredient was kept aside, excluded and now the world seemed so different, so new, so mesmerising....have we now become such a mess... That, simply by keeping us aside, everything's back to the good old times... 

Well the best testimony of this is that, with a proximate global lock down, the pollution levels have fairly decreased..!

I woke up from this thought, with the ring of a notification, that read -"2 hrs 2 go."

This brought me back to the human world. 

With a brisk Smile on my face, I evoked to the fact that ,this day was going to be one of a kind! 

It , was a tussle between a mere 8*10^-7 inch(20nm) microb and the entire humankind . With every country dealing it their way ,my India had a discrete plan. 

It, was the Janta Carfew !

Under the guidance of our Hon'ble PM and the enthusiasm of 234 crore Indians, we were all determined to not just stay home the entire day, but also to appreciate, treasure and cherish the fortitude of our fellow citizens, not just the medics- Doctors, nurses, paramedics, government officials, police forces, our soldiers and essential services, but also , all the patients and their caretakers, all of who were on field to battle the Novel Corona Virus .They are the very symbol of our tradition of  "सेवा पर्मो धर्म " . And as their fellow citizens, it was indeed our utmost pleasure to get out, in our balconies, galleries ,at our doorways or atop terraces and encourage them by clapping hands and ringing bells. 

The Honourable Prime Minister had asked for our 5 mins ,and the outcome was a wave of 134 crore hands thanking our super heroes....

It was indeed an emotional moment,seeing my countrymen come together and support each other .There emerged a wave of ,that spirit of togetherness, patriotism and courage. 

Not just are we now defined as the nation of, unity in diversity but , of unity in isolation... 

Today I will take this moment to thank each and every responsible citizen ,not just of this nation, but that of this world, who has taken all the stout precautions and prerequisites to cease the spread of COVID-19 .

Let's do this and come back as more evolved, furnished and sage Human Beings!
